The UCSB Ventura Center serves as one of the satellite campuses for UC Santa Barbara and is the oldest of its kind in the UC system. The Center is located in the vibrant business district of Ventura near the Pacific View mall and houses the Bachelor degree programs offered by OCS and UCSB Extension courses and certificate programs as well.

UCSB programs offered in Ventura County reflect the highest academic standards and excellent reputation of this world-class university. UCSB is proud to be one of the 63 universities elected to the prestigious Association of American Universities.

The Ventura Center has nine classrooms and a 24-station Pentium computer lab that provides students with access to the Internet, e-mail, and online computerized research. Enrolled students have access to the lab when not being used for classes to work on class projects, check e-mail, or surf the Internet.

The center features small classes that allow for more interaction between professor and student. The location is easily accessible and close to restaurants and shops. There is ample free parking and long office hours accommodate most schedules.
